A Seat S.A. announced that it has appointed Arantxa Alonso as Brand Officer of the brand, a newly created position aimed at driving the ongoing success of Seat.
Alonso was previously in charge of the Cupra office at VW Anhui, in China, and took on the new role on September 1, reporting directly to Sven Schuwirth, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and After Sales at Seat.
As Brand Officer of Seat, Arantxa Alonso will lead the long-term strategy and will be responsible for developing and implementing lifecycle plans to enhance the volume and profits of the Seat brand. Additionally, she will need to create a team to ensure the proper positioning of the model range in the market and develop the brand’s marketing campaigns.
