Italian rider Marco Bezzecchi is reportedly set to join Aprilia for the 2025 MotoGP season, replacing Maverick Vinales, who is moving to KTM. According to Motorsport.com, Bezzecchi will leave Valentino Rossi’s satellite Ducati team to join Aprilia. Last season, Bezzecchi achieved great success by winning three races and finishing third in the championship. Despite being offered the opportunity to ride for Pramac in 2024, he chose to stay with his current team. However, this decision has not worked well for him as he has been struggling with his performance this season. If Bezzecchi moves to Aprilia, it could lead Pramac to switch from Ducati to Yamaha. The report suggests that Marc Marquez’s signing by Ducati has caused tension within the VR46 camp. Bezzecchi is part of Valentino Rossi’s Academy, which may have caused disagreements with Ducati regarding his potential move.
