Apple TV hints at thrilling sequel to blockbuster F1 movie: 24 films in the pipeline!

Formula 1 Takes Hollywood by Storm: Sequel Teased as Apple TV Partners Up!

Hold onto your helmets, motorsport fans! Apple TV’s Eddy Cue has just dropped a bombshell, hinting at a sensational sequel to the blockbuster hit, Formula 1, which raked in a staggering $631.5 million globally since its June 2025 release! This cinematic marvel not only captured the hearts of fans but also secured four Oscar nominations, including the coveted ‘Best Picture.’ With numbers like these, it’s no wonder the Formula 1 community is buzzing with excitement over what’s next.

During a recent press event, F1 chief Stefano Domenicali tantalized fans with a cryptic update on the potential sequel. When quizzed by Cue, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Services, Domenicali urged fans to “stay tuned.” The anticipation mounts as Cue jokingly remarked about their ongoing partnership with F1, declaring, “We got 24 F1 movies on Apple TV. I don’t know what the ending is. It’s the best unscripted drama in the world.” Talk about a cliffhanger!

But that’s not all—Apple TV is making waves beyond the silver screen! In a groundbreaking five-year deal announced in 2025, the tech giant has officially become the United States’ broadcast partner for Formula 1, a move that’s set to revolutionize how American audiences engage with the sport. Apple will stream every thrilling moment, from free practice sessions to the heart-racing grands prix, starting with the 2026 season. The price tag? A jaw-dropping $150 million annually, culminating in a staggering total of up to $750 million!

As fans gear up for the 2026 F1 season kickoff on March 6 at Melbourne’s iconic Albert Park Circuit, excitement is palpable. The adrenaline-fueled Australian Grand Prix is scheduled for March 8, with qualifying rounds heating up the track just days prior. Two critical three-day testing sessions will set the stage in Bahrain before the engines roar to life in Australia.

In the midst of this thrilling announcement, F1 star Lewis Hamilton is also making headlines with a significant reshuffle at Ferrari, marking a potential reunion for the 2026 season. With all these developments, it’s clear that the Formula 1 universe is on the brink of something monumental.

Get ready, because the future of F1 is not just on the track—it’s about to explode onto your screens in ways you’ve never imagined! Stay tuned for more exhilarating updates as Apple and Formula 1 continue to redefine the motorsport experience.
