Antonio Felix da Costa claims stunning victory for Jaguar as Ticktum and Marti clash in chaos

Da Costa Shatters the Competition: Jaguar's Star Rises Amidst Team Turmoil!

In an electrifying showdown at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, Antonio Felix da Costa has blasted onto the scene, clinching his first victory with Jaguar in the second race of the high-stakes Jeddah double-header. The race unfolded like a cinematic thriller, with heart-stopping moments and intense rivalries, especially between the Cupra Kiro teammates Dan Ticktum and Pepe Marti, whose on-track clash sent shockwaves through the paddock.

Da Costa, who previously secured wins with DS Techeetah and Porsche, mirrored that success just five races into his new Jaguar partnership—a strikingly swift achievement that speaks volumes of his driving prowess. The 30-lap race was a test of skill and strategy, as da Costa broke free from an intense multi-driver battle during the early laps, maintaining a solid lead of a couple of seconds over the relentless chasing pack.

As the race progressed, Envision driver Sebastien Buemi surged forward, ultimately securing second place and delivering a stunning 1-2 finish for Jaguar, a feat that solidifies the team's dominance in this electric racing series. Defending champion Oliver Rowland also made waves, claiming his third podium of the season with a commendable third place finish. Meanwhile, Edoardo Mortara's Mahindra started strong from pole position but faded to fourth, showcasing the unpredictability of Formula E racing.

However, the real drama unfolded with the Cupra Kiro duo. In a heart-stopping moment late in the race, Ticktum and Marti collided at the chicane, a clash that could have ended in disaster. The tension was palpable as both drivers exchanged furious expletives over team radio, revealing the raw emotions and high stakes involved in their fierce competition. Despite the turmoil, the Cupra Kiro team celebrated a personal best for both drivers, proving their resilience on the track.

This race not only marks a significant milestone for da Costa and Jaguar but also highlights the fierce rivalries that can make or break a team's season. As the dust settles in Jeddah, all eyes will be on the upcoming races to see if da Costa can continue his winning streak and if the Cupra Kiro teammates can mend their frayed relationship or if the tension will boil over again. Buckle up, because this season of Formula E is shaping up to be one for the history books!
