Antonello Coletta Faces Ferrari Fate: Contract Expiring as Vasseur’s Future Hangs in Balance

Frederic Vasseur’s Future at Ferrari in Jeopardy as Contract Nears End in 2025!

The Formula 1 world is buzzing with rumors and speculations surrounding the uncertain future of Frederic Vasseur at Ferrari. Reports from various Italian publications suggest that Vasseur’s position as Team Principal is increasingly precarious as the 2025 season progresses.

Despite Ferrari’s second-place position in the constructors’ championship, the team’s performance has been underwhelming, with only three podium finishes and one Sprint race victory so far. This disappointing outcome has left fans and executives alike questioning the direction of the iconic Italian team.

As the 2026 regulation overhaul looms on the horizon, discussions are rife in Maranello about potential strategies to revitalize Ferrari’s Formula 1 project. Naturally, all eyes are on Frederic Vasseur, with several media outlets scrutinizing his leadership and the team’s performance under his guidance.

Recent reports have raised doubts about Vasseur’s future, with speculation mounting about possible replacements, including names like Christian Horner and Andreas Seidl. Antonello Coletta has also emerged as a potential candidate to take over the reins at Ferrari.

The Corriere della Sera reported that Vasseur’s position is being evaluated by top management at Ferrari, citing dissatisfaction with the team’s results and Vasseur’s alleged lack of familiarity with the internal dynamics. The newspaper even suggested that Antonello Coletta, known for his consistent refusal of offers in the past, could be a suitable replacement.

Even Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc is rumored to have concerns about his future with the team, with questions raised about his contract extension until 2029. With the next three races deemed crucial for Vasseur’s fate, the pressure is mounting on the Team Principal to deliver results and secure his position.

With the spotlight firmly on Ferrari and Vasseur, the coming weeks promise to be decisive for the legendary team’s leadership. As the season unfolds, all eyes will be on Maranello to see how the Ferrari hierarchy navigates these challenging times and whether Vasseur can steer the team back to its winning ways.
