After the fake phone calls and the fraudulent emails, the National Road Safety Authority (ANSR) has once again identified a new wave of fake messages in its name, this time through SMS, with “fraudulent and completely unrelated to ANSR” messages.
“This is ‘Smishing’, a fraudulent attempt to obtain confidential information through messaging, disguised as a known entity, so you should not make any payment.”
In addition, the National Road Safety Authority reminds once again that all notifications from ANSR are made through mail and not through email or SMS.
