Google has announced that Android Auto, a system widely used by drivers, will now make use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to allow drivers to interact with their smart devices in a safer manner while driving.
Among the new features, the American technology company announced that the latest version of Android Auto will be able to summarize and respond to text messages.
Using the power of AI, Android Auto automatically summarizes long texts or group conversations while driving, so that the driver does not divert their attention from the road and maintains safe driving.
Another new feature is generative response text, with the system automatically suggesting the appropriate response that drivers can select through voice to send without having to write or dictate anything. For this, AI will provide response suggestions based on the context of received text messages.
