Indy NXT race victor Jamie Chadwick will have her inaugural NTT IndyCar Series test in September with a trial for her Andretti Global squad. The British driver is scheduled to complete her initial laps in an Indy car at Barber Motorsports Park as part of her ongoing preparation for a potential move to IndyCar in the future.

“I am extremely thrilled to have the chance to test in IndyCar for the first time with Andretti Global at Barber Motorsports Park later this year,” expressed the three-time W Series champion. “I want to express my immense gratitude to the team for this opportunity. It is definitely one that I will savor. The NTT IndyCar Series remains my ultimate goal, so I am eagerly anticipating the chance to absorb as much knowledge as possible on that day at one of the most challenging tracks on the schedule.”

The 26-year-old is among a few promising NXT contenders within Andretti Global, including current championship leader Louis Foster.

“It has been a privilege to witness Jamie’s development as a driver in our Indy NXT program,” stated team owner Michael Andretti. “The dedication she displayed during the offseason after her rookie campaign is evident, and we have been impressed by the strides she has made. The Indy NXT field is highly competitive this year, and Jamie’s achievements are a testament to her skill level and potential. We believe in acknowledging hard work and results, and we are thrilled to provide her with this opportunity. We are all eagerly anticipating what she can accomplish in September.”
