The trio of Colton Herta, Kyle Kirkwood, and Marcus Ericsson from Andretti Global dominated the test session at World Wide Technology Raceway. Herta set the fastest time with Kirkwood and Ericsson not far behind. Conor Daly from Juncos Hollinger Racing and Romain Grosjean also had a strong showing. Kyffin Simpson and Linus Lundqvist from Chip Ganassi Racing performed well as rookies.
Christian Rasmussen from Ed Carpenter Racing crashed, ending his day early. Nolan Siegel from Arrow McLaren completed the rookie group. The close time gaps between the drivers indicated the importance of qualifying for the upcoming race.
