Max Verstappen has already secured five victories in the Grand Prix this year. The current world champion has shown impressive performance since the beginning of the 2024 F1 season. He has already achieved five wins in the Grand Prix and, while many praise him for various reasons, the McLaren team director highlighted a crucial factor behind the success of the Dutch driver.

According to Andrea Stella, the key to the strong performance of the 26-year-old driver in F1 lies in his exceptional starts when the race begins! Max Verstappen has always displayed incredible reaction times, so he rarely loses the lead when starting from pole position.

Even during the weekend in Imola, Verstappen had a good start and successfully defended his position entering Turn 1. Verstappen has been dominating F1 since the introduction of ground effect technology. He has already won three world championships since 2021 and is currently the favorite to secure another title by the end of this year.

While Andrea Stella praised Max Verstappen’s racing skills, the Red Bull director also commended the 26-year-old driver. Marko believes that Verstappen was solely responsible for the victory in the Emilia-Romagna GP. The Dutchman won the race by an incredibly narrow margin of 0.725 seconds.

After seven rounds, Verstappen leads the Drivers’ Championship with 161 points, while his closest rival, , has 113 points. However, Verstappen cannot afford to be complacent, especially with the challenging Monaco GP up next.
