The “Anatomy of a Comeback” is a four-episode documentary series produced by Amazon Prime, revealing all the behind-the-scenes secrets of the strategic plan “Renaulution.”
At the beginning of the 2020s, on the brink of collapse, Renault unveiled the “Renaulution,” an unprecedented strategic plan in the automotive sector, presented by the brand’s CEO, Luca de Meo.

In a sector that tends to operate behind closed doors, the series available on Amazon Prime offers unparalleled access to Renault’s operations, sharing the complexities of the production and development processes of the brand’s new models, such as the Renault 5 E-Tech, and takes viewers behind the scenes of the Alpine Formula 1 team. Furthermore, this series is a true adventure filled with challenges, setbacks, and triumphs, all seen through the eyes of those who are at the center of the action.
The documentary features a special moment at the end of the fourth and final episode, where viewers join Luca de Meo and other executives from the French brand to learn about the future Renault 5 Turbo 3E, a model that will revive the iconic Renault 5 Turbo from the 1980s as a 100% electric sports car, set to hit the market in 2026.

The small but powerful hatchback will feature rear-wheel drive, very similar to its 1980s predecessor. However, the 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produced around 160 hp in the original model will be replaced by two electric motors installed in the rear wheels, allowing for instantaneous power to each wheel, resulting in a combined total power of over 500 hp.
