For automotive fans, the creations of the Amalgam Collection are a mandatory reference, as the brand uses techniques to digitize full-scale models to achieve perfection.
The prestigious British miniature brand has now recreated a limited edition of only 199 exact replicas of the Ferrari 296 GT3, scaled at 1:8, designed for the tracks.
Working from data provided by the Maranello brand, the team of craftsmen at Amalgam developed a prototype, meticulously reducing the data to ensure that all details were fully captured, and created various molds to produce the model’s parts.
Amalgam has announced that the overall development process carried out by the team of craftsmen took over 3,000 hours, and with all the parts manufactured, the assembly of each model requires 300 hours of work.
This Amalgam creation features all the details of the real Ferrari 296 GT3, including a highly detailed interior with seat belts, numerous buttons, and a sports steering wheel with no detail left behind.
The result is a perfect display piece, measuring 55 cm in length, that replicates the Ferrari 296 GT3, with a price of €16,485.
