Rookie Driver Jack Doohan Suffers Unjust Treatment According to Colleagues

In a shocking turn of events, young driver Jack Doohan has found himself at the center of controversy after being dropped by Alpine following just six Grand Prix races in 2025, in favor of Franco Colapinto. The decision has sparked outrage within the racing community, with fellow drivers speaking out against the treatment Doohan received.

Oliver Bearman, a rising star in the world of motorsport, has come to the defense of Doohan, criticizing Alpine for their handling of the situation. Bearman expressed his dismay, stating, “It’s a horrible situation, and I believe the treatment was very unfair.” He highlighted the challenges faced by rookie drivers and emphasized the importance of allowing them time to learn and grow. Bearman’s comments shed light on the intense pressure faced by young drivers in the competitive world of Formula 1.

The controversy has raised questions about the treatment of rookie drivers in the sport, with many calling for a more supportive and nurturing environment. Both Doohan and Colapinto have faced immense pressure to perform, with their futures uncertain after just a handful of races. The cutthroat nature of Formula 1 has once again come under scrutiny, as young talents are thrust into the spotlight and expected to deliver results at a breakneck pace.

As the debate rages on, one thing is clear – the world of motorsport is unforgiving, especially for those just starting their careers. The treatment of Jack Doohan serves as a stark reminder of the challenges faced by rookie drivers in a sport where success and failure can hinge on the smallest of margins. Will this controversy lead to change in the way young drivers are nurtured and developed in Formula 1? Only time will tell.
