Former Haas F1 team principal, Guenther Steiner, has made a bold prediction regarding Jack Doohan’s future at Alpine based on the current performance of the young driver. Amid swirling rumors suggesting that Doohan’s time at Alpine might be limited, Steiner has weighed in on when the team could potentially part ways with the struggling driver.

Amidst the intense pressure faced by Jack Doohan, who is amongst the four drivers in the Formula 1 2025 season yet to score a single point, Alpine seems to be evaluating the situation carefully. With a lineup of promising junior talents waiting in the wings, the speculation surrounding Doohan’s contract has been a hot topic in the paddock.

While initial reports hinted at a five-race probation period for Doohan to prove himself, it appears that Alpine is willing to extend a bit more leeway to the Australian driver. Guenther Steiner, now a pundit after his tenure at Haas F1, has indicated that Doohan might only have until the upcoming summer break to showcase his potential before facing a potential replacement.

Speaking about Alpine’s current standing in the World Constructors’ Championships and Doohan’s performance, Steiner emphasized the need for consistent delivery from the young driver. He highlighted the competitive nature of the car by pointing out Pierre Gasly’s achievements, underscoring the challenges Doohan faces in a bid to secure his spot on the team.

Steiner’s insights have sparked discussions among fans and experts alike, with many closely monitoring Doohan’s progress leading up to the pivotal summer break. As the stakes continue to rise in the competitive world of Formula 1, all eyes are on Jack Doohan as he strives to prove his worth and secure his future in the sport.
