From hitting rock bottom to soaring to P7 glory, Pierre Gasly’s Alpine transformation in Bahrain leaves the F1 world in awe.

In a jaw-dropping display of resilience and growth, Alpine driver Pierre Gasly stunned spectators with a remarkable seventh-place finish at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Reflecting on the team’s journey, Gasly recalled the dark days of 2024 when Alpine hit rock bottom in Bahrain. However, the Frenchman’s spirits remained high as he commended the crew for their role in his success at Sakhir.

Gasly’s heart-stopping battle for sixth place with Max Verstappen added an extra layer of drama to the race. Despite narrowly missing out on the position in the final lap, Gasly’s mature perspective shone through as he acknowledged the team’s progress. From struggling to secure a top 10 position last year to fiercely competing against the race leaders, Gasly’s performance underscored Alpine’s remarkable evolution.

The race in Bahrain was a rollercoaster of emotions for Gasly, who grappled with the disappointment of losing ground to Verstappen while celebrating Alpine’s competitive edge. Securing a strong fourth-place start in qualifying, Gasly overcame unexpected challenges, including a safety car intervention, to clinch Alpine’s first points of the F1 2025 season.

Looking back on the past year, Gasly marveled at the team’s turnaround from their dismal performance in 2024. Recalling a time when both Alpine cars lagged behind competitors, Gasly expressed pride in the team’s relentless pursuit of excellence. While acknowledging areas for improvement, such as low-speed traction, Gasly praised the team’s collective efforts in enhancing the car’s overall performance.

Amidst the cheers and applause at Bahrain, Gasly’s journey from adversity to triumph serves as a testament to Alpine’s unwavering determination and unwavering spirit. As the F1 world watches in awe, Gasly’s Alpine turnaround stands as a beacon of hope and inspiration for teams striving to overcome obstacles and reach new heights in the world of Formula 1.
