Alpine’s Electric Rally Beast: A290 Roars Into Competition With 220bhp Power!

Alpine’s Electric Rally Car Revolutionizes the Racing Scene

Prepare to be blown away by Alpine’s latest innovation in the racing world – the A290 Rallye! This groundbreaking vehicle is set to shake things up as it gears up for its debut in a single-make rally challenge. Unveiled to the public at the prestigious Rallye Rouergue Rodez Aveyron Occitanie in France, the A290 Rallye is the epitome of speed, power, and cutting-edge technology.

Boasting the FIA’s eRally5-1 technical regulations, the A290 Rallye is a force to be reckoned with. Derived from the A290 road car, which is a high-performance variant of the new Renault 5, this electric marvel is set to revolutionize the rally racing scene. With a 220bhp electric motor propelling its front-wheel-drive mechanism, the A290 Rallye is not to be underestimated.

But the innovation doesn’t stop there – Alpine has equipped this beast with top-of-the-line features, including ALP Racing suspension, shock absorbers, a ZF limited slip differential, and a hydraulic handbrake. What sets this car apart is its “innovative system” that produces sound in sync with the car’s speed and throttle position, creating a one-of-a-kind racing experience.

Priced at €59,990 (excluding VAT), the A290 Rallye is a steal for racing enthusiasts looking to elevate their game. With its global debut scheduled at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed, this electrifying rally car is already causing a stir in the automotive world.

Alpine has also hinted at the car’s versatility, indicating that it can be used in individual rallies beyond its organized events. With the brand providing technical support, charging infrastructure, and a dedicated prize structure, the A290 Rallye is set to dominate the rally circuit like never before.

Get ready to witness history in the making as Alpine paves the way for a new era of electric rally racing with the groundbreaking A290 Rallye.
