Alpine, the renowned French Formula 1 team, is setting its sights on the 2026 racing season to kick-start their journey towards victory. This ambitious target has been outlined by Flavio Briatore, the team’s executive advisor. Briatore, a well-known figure in the racing world, was brought on board by Renault CEO Luca de Meo to lend his expertise in turning the team’s fortunes around.

The high-profile advisor has certainly been working diligently to shift the team’s trajectory. One of his significant moves included appointing a new team principal, Oliver “Ollie” Oakes, who replaced Bruno Famin. This change in leadership is expected to infuse fresh energy and perspective to the team’s strategy.

However, Briatore’s strategic decisions don’t stop at personnel changes. He has also overseen a monumental shift in the team’s machinery. The French team will leave behind its Renault power and instead, will harness the might of Mercedes from the 2026 season onwards. This decision marks an exciting new chapter in the team’s history and could serve as a critical element in their 2026 winning target.

Briatore’s bold moves and ambitious targets have reignited excitement and anticipation for the team’s future. As the 2026 season approaches, all eyes will be on Alpine to see how these significant changes play out on the racing circuit. With a new leader at the helm, and a powerful new engine under the hood, the team is all set to start winning races in 2026.

The ambitious 2026 target, the leadership change, and the switch to Mercedes power are all part of Briatore’s strategic vision to steer Alpine back into competitiveness. These decisions mark a new era for the team and highlight Briatore’s commitment to bringing Alpine back to the forefront of Formula 1 racing. Fans and rivals alike will be watching closely as the French team gears up for an exciting future.
