Alpine took advantage of a chaotic race in Canada two weeks ago to secure double points, propelling the team to eighth place in the standings. However, Ocon is cautious in stating that the Anglo-French brand fully understands their problems, despite making progress. He believes that claiming they are “on top of things” is a bold statement, as they are not yet competing for podiums and victories. Ocon acknowledges that Alpine’s difficulties with the revised A524 are spread across various areas, but remains hopeful that they can overcome these challenges.
