After announcing that it will present the A390 show car on October 11 at the Paris Motor Show, which anticipates the brand’s future 100% electric sports fastback to be produced in Dieppe in 2025.
However, the team from “MotorAuthority” has already revealed the first images of the model that was “caught” during testing, and the initial images show that the new Alpine model is a compact electric crossover with a fastback design, and the lighting signature includes separate daytime running lights and headlights.
Additionally, the now-revealed test model shows that the A390 is equipped with aerodynamic-shaped wheels and an LED strip at the rear.
Everything indicates that the new A390 will utilize a dedicated EV platform from the Alliance, the same one used by the Renault Mégane E-Tech and the Nissan Ariya, which was recently employed in the Ariya Nismo with 429 hp.
This new model will join Alpine’s 100% electric Dream Garage, alongside the A290, the electric hot hatch presented in June of this year.
The new show car from Alpine will be one of the stars of the Paris Motor Show, which will take place from October 14 to 20, where it will make its world debut alongside the Alpenglow Hy6, equipped with the new 6-cylinder hydrogen-powered engine, the A290, and new examples of customizations of the A110.
