He believes that starting from behind in Imola is one of the worst positions and compares it to Monaco, which is known for its limited overtaking opportunities. Alonso suggests that Singapore is even easier to overtake in comparison. Despite the challenges, he believes the race will provide valuable insights into the performance of the updated package.
When asked about the possibility of starting from the pit lane and making adjustments to the car setup, Alonso hinted that it could be an option for his team.
