Alpine announced that it will present the first dynamic version of Alpenglow at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the third round of the World Endurance Championship.
The Alpenglow prototype was revealed at the end of 2022 at the Paris Motor Show, representing the French brand’s first step towards sustainable solutions for clean mobility. It combines an internal combustion engine powered by hydrogen with two cylindrical hydrogen tanks at 700 bar, resulting in the prototype producing virtually nothing but steam.
Now, Alpine is preparing to unveil a racing version of the Alpenglow, which will take place at the Belgian Spa-Francorchamps circuit on May 10 and 11, with the debut of the first dynamic version of the model on track.
The French brand has already stated that the Alpenglow embodies the future of Alpine design in motorsport, as well as in future production models, serving as a laboratory for future sustainable mobility technologies with a hydrogen-powered internal combustion engine that will enhance driving pleasure.
