Alfa Romeo is once again securing a prominent place at the 2024 Caramulo Motorfestival, which will take place on September 6, 7, and 8, by becoming the official sponsor of the event.
The recently expanded range of sports cars will headline Alfa Romeo’s presence at the festival held in the Serra do Caramulo, a setting chosen as the stage for the unveiling of the top-of-the-line version of its latest model, the new Junior Veloce.
Equipped with an electric motor producing 280 hp and 345 Nm of maximum torque, the Junior Veloce stands out. In addition to the new engine, this version, the sportiest in the range, features a set of design evolutions aimed at maximizing performance, road behavior, and driving pleasure.
Thus, Alfa Romeo engineers implemented a specific calibration to make the steering more direct and precise, enhancing the road grip qualities of the 100% electric SUV. Furthermore, the sport suspension has been lowered by 25 mm; the front and rear stabilizer bars are distinctly sporty, ensuring high-speed cornering with a high level of grip; the braking system is equipped with front discs larger than 380 mm and four-piston monoblock calipers.
The Junior Veloce also features a Torsen differential that provides the best possible traction in all conditions, along with 20″ tires specifically designed for electric vehicles.
The new Junior Veloce will not only be available for “co-drive” experiences on the Caramulo ramp, but it will also be on display at the Alfa Romeo space alongside the new Tonale Tributo Italiano, the brand’s first global special series, which pays tribute to its origins and sporting heritage.
