The Spanish actor Pedro González Alonso stars in the launch campaign for the new Alfa Romeo Junior, the compact sports car that reintroduces the global Italian brand in a segment of strategic importance.
A global icon thanks to his magnetic role as “Berlin” in the television series “Money Heist,” his performance helped transform the character into a cultural phenomenon, making Alonso an internationally recognized personality and a symbol of contemporary drama series.
The campaign, named “Discover a New Passion” (originally “Learn to Love Again”), takes Pedro Alonso’s character on a journey where logic is set aside, allowing him to be overwhelmed by the visceral and mysterious emotions of passion.
The Alfa Romeo Junior is a cool and unique object that expresses a completely new sporting emotion, going beyond mere performance and aiming for a position of sporting ideal to attract a new generation of Alfisti fans. The Junior has the ability to create an immediate emotional connection with the driver, based on a symbiotic man-machine relationship; for Alfa Romeo, the car is and continues to be an exciting product to be experienced with passion and engagement.
Remember that the new Junior is a segment B SUV, 100% electric, designed to be the sportiest model in its class, especially in the top-of-the-line variant, Veloce, which offers 240 hp and a more refined chassis configuration.
The first 100% electric model from Alfa Romeo comes with an electric motor offering two power levels, 156 or 240 hp for the Veloce variant, powered by a 54 kWh battery, which, according to the Italian brand, provides high energy density. Specifically, in the 156 hp version, the lithium-ion battery claims a range of 410 kilometers in the WLTP cycle or 590 km in urban cycle.
