Alfa Romeo has decided to bid farewell to 2024 with a video showcasing the best moments of the Italian brand throughout the year that is ending, and beyond. The video revealed through social media seems to anticipate the new lighting signature of the rear of the new generation Stelvio, which will arrive in 2025.
The revealed “teaser” shows a continuous strip of LED technology that appears to wrap around a large area of the trunk lid, following the unmistakable Scudetto of Alfa Romeo.
Just like the new Giulia, which will arrive in 2026, the new generation of the Stelvio will be based on the STLA Large 800V platform, which according to Stellantis could allow accelerations from 0 to 100 km/h in about 2 seconds. Additionally, the new fully electric models from Alfa Romeo are expected to be equipped with active stabilizer bars.
Everything points to the new generation of Stelvio and Giulia potentially being offered with versions featuring internal combustion engines, most likely with hybrid technology, which will join the already announced fully electric offering.
The CEO of Alfa Romeo, Jean-Phillipe Imparato, has already revealed that the new electric models will continue to focus on the driver, maintaining a more conservative approach to digital offerings in the cabin. Therefore, they will continue to feature the traditional telescopic instrument panel, even though they will now be equipped with a larger infotainment screen.
