Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale with new Blue Reale color goes from dream to reality.

From this year on, Alfa Romeo will celebrate March 3 as the “33 Stradale” day and to mark the occasion, the Italian brand has revealed new images of the supercar that pays homage to the 1967 33 Stradale, with the unusual Blu Reale paint, a body color that evokes its glorious past. The new 33 Stradale promises to be as rare as the original, which was produced in 18 units, as Alfa Romeo will only produce 33 units, all of which are already sold. The construction of this supercar will be done by hand at the Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera facilities, which will equip the new model with two different engines. One equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 turbo gasoline engine, with over 620 hp, and another, 100% electric, capable of delivering a maximum power above 750 hp.

Stylistically, there are several elements shared between both 33 Stradale, such as the vertically opening doors, with the glass extending through the panoramic roof of the unmistakable “V” that dominates the “cofango” (term that identifies the unique component that integrates the hood and the bumper, where the characteristic shield of the Italian brand is placed, in this case built in carbon fiber).

As for the minimalist interior design, proposed with two levels of finish, Tributo and Alfa Corse, the former paying homage to the original model, the latter with an even more sporty character.

With several characteristic elements of the transalpine manufacturer, the new 33 Stradale features a three-spoke steering wheel, without any buttons, and an instrument panel with two large round dials.

To ensure the greatest possible involvement in the driving experience, everything that could distract the driver from their task has been suppressed, just like in an airplane cockpit, the controls, in a limited number, are located at different levels, either on the central console, or on the roof itself.

Also inspired by the world of aeronautics are the dashboard and the central console, in whose design materials such as aluminum, carbon fiber, genuine leather, and Alcantara were used – with a large retractable screen between them, through which all vehicle settings can be managed. The seats are a contemporary reinterpretation of the originals, with six-way electric adjustments.

In short, the “33” is, this year, a magical number for Alfa Romeo, which has produced its new supercar in an exclusive Blu Reale, an evocative color already available on the 1967 33 and now one of the three body colors available on the model, along with the classic Rosso Alfa and the more refined Rosso Villa d’Este.
