Alex Lowes has officially signed a contract to race for the newly established Bimota Racing Team by Kawasaki in the 2025 World Superbike season. Lowes has been part of the KRT team since 2020 and will remain with the highly successful team as they undergo changes in 2025. In April, Bimota and Kawasaki announced their collaboration, revealing plans to produce a special homologation model with the Ninja ZX-10RR engine. Lowes had a strong start to his campaign, securing two wins in the season opener at Phillip Island. His extension with the team demonstrates confidence in Bimota’s new project. Lowes expressed his belief that this opportunity came at the right time, praising the efforts of both Bimota and Kawasaki in this endeavor. He believes that their combined experience and expertise will give them the best chance of success with the new bike. Lowes is grateful for the trust shown in him by KMC, Bimota, and Provec Racing, and is excited to continue being part of their racing family.
