Alex Albon has criticized both Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton for their actions during the Hungarian GP.

The race was filled with excitement and drama, especially because of the clash between the two legendary drivers. They had a thrilling battle for a podium finish, but Verstappen’s collision with Hamilton towards the end of the race shattered his dreams. In response, Albon took a neutral stance and did not assign blame to either driver.

Verstappen’s collision with Hamilton divided fans into two camps. The incident was not penalized by the stewards, who deemed it a racing incident. Albon acknowledged that he was aware of the close proximity between the two drivers, but even he was surprised to witness such a close encounter resulting in a collision.

Despite the controversy, Albon refused to take sides and blamed both Verstappen and Hamilton for their aggressive moves. He pointed out that Verstappen made a late move, while Hamilton displayed a squeezing element in his actions.

While many believed Verstappen was at fault for the incident, the FIA stewards cleared him of any wrongdoing after their investigation. Albon supported the stewards’ decision and did not consider it a significant issue.

Albon acknowledged that the situation was tense, even though the stewards made the correct call in labeling it a racing incident.

Red Bull is facing tough competition in the ground-effect era, as McLaren has surpassed them in terms of performance midway through the 2024 season. This means that Red Bull and Max Verstappen will have to work hard to maintain their position and fend off their rivals.
