Albon vai largar da garagem no Grande Prêmio da Espanha após ajustes na unidade de potência.

Alex Albon, the Williams driver, will start the Spanish GP from the pitlane. This decision was made due to changes made to his power unit components that exceeded the allocated amount. Albon qualified in 19th place, but will now start the race from the pitlane after replacing his battery and control electronics. Williams had a challenging qualifying session, resulting in the elimination of both cars in Q1 and starting from the back row of the grid. In an attempt to maximize their performance in the race and have new parts for future races, the team decided to change Albon’s power unit components. The Stewards deemed this replacement unauthorized and as a result, car number 23 must start the race from the pitlane. This promotion moves Logan Sargeant to 19th place, while Albon’s grid slot will remain vacant and he will start in his original qualifying position, last. Williams, who has only scored two points so far this season, is struggling in Barcelona and is considered one of the slowest teams on the track. Despite the disappointing performance in qualifying, Albon expressed satisfaction with the balance of his car during the session. He acknowledged some issues with tire temperature, but overall felt that the car has improved compared to last year.
