Adrian Newey rumores de deixar a Red Bull antes de 2025.

Adrian Newey played a significant role in the success that Red Bull has achieved so far in its Formula 1 history. The recent investigation controversy within the team caused quite a stir, with rumors circulating about the possible departure of key figures such as Newey, Christian Horner, and others. Although the investigation has been resolved, there are still speculations about Newey’s departure, which could have a major impact on the performance of the Austrian constructor in the future.

Rumors about Newey’s departure began amid a power struggle within the team and the aforementioned investigation. Despite having previously expressed his loyalty to Red Bull, there were indications that Newey may be considering other options. Several other teams have shown interest in acquiring the highly skilled engineer.

Newey’s current contract with Red Bull extends until the end of the 2025 season. However, reports suggest that the Englishman is contemplating leaving the team and exploring his alternatives. Rumors indicate that he may announce his departure soon, potentially during the ongoing campaign. Furthermore, there are indications that he may not want to focus exclusively on the RB17 Hypercar project. Neither Newey nor Red Bull have provided substantial information on this matter.

According to our sources, Adrian Newey is about to leave Red Bull, and we expect an official announcement in the near future. More details about his departure date and possible destinations can be found in our AMuS article. Aston Martin and Mercedes have expressed interest in acquiring the services of the 65-year-old Brit, given the recent tensions at Red Bull. Additionally, there have been rumors linking sightings of Newey near Bologna airport to a possible meeting with representatives from Ferrari, who were rumored to have offered him a significant deal to join the team.

Adrian Newey has been an integral part of Red Bull since 2006, leading the team to numerous victories during the ground effect era. Despite his previous statements about staying in the sport, the current situation of the Englishman suggests otherwise. Newey has always had a passion for design since his childhood, and has greatly enjoyed his time working in Formula 1. He will continue to do so as long as he finds it fun and as long as teams are interested in his expertise. However, he has not made any long-term plans regarding his future in the sport.

Although Red Bull ideally wants Newey to stay on board, especially with the upcoming regulatory changes, the growing tensions within the team may lead him to explore other options. So far, Newey has several possibilities for the next season and could bring valuable knowledge to rival teams. The situation surrounding Newey’s future is expected to develop rapidly in the coming hours.
