Adrian Newey rumores de reunião com CEO da Ferrari Fred Vasseur após saída da Red Bull

Adrian Newey will explore all possibilities before deciding which team to join beyond the 2025 season. The departure of the renowned aerodynamic expert from Red Bull has attracted significant attention. Speculations about his departure have been circulating over the past week. However, now that the surprising decision has been finalized, it is expected that the Englishman will soon find a new team. Undoubtedly, all major teams will be eager to secure Newey’s services. Therefore, before the next season, the 65-year-old man is scheduled to meet with potential suitors.

Red Bull has officially announced Newey’s departure from the team. He will finish work on the RB17 Hypercar before leaving Milton Keynes. Unlike the typical practice of putting employees on paid leave, Newey will be free to join a rival team immediately. Ferrari is the team that has shown the most interest in the 65-year-old man. There were rumors that the Italian team offered a substantial amount of money and greater creative freedom to attract him.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Ferrari boss plans to travel to London to negotiate a contract with Newey. Given Ferrari’s persistent interest and Newey’s previous comments about not working with the team, it is possible that he will end up joining Maranello. If the aerodynamic expert joins the Italian manufacturer, this could greatly increase their chances of winning the championship as early as 2026. Newey’s arrival could be the missing piece to restore Ferrari to its former glory.

The departure of Newey from Red Bull could compromise the team’s continued success in the sport. His technical expertise played a crucial role in Milton Keynes’ dominant performance during the ground effect era. However, the 65-year-old man expressed confidence in the team’s ability to continue developing the ground effect car for his final season before the 2026 regulations come into effect.

Discussing his departure from the team, Newey expressed his gratitude to various prominent figures at Red Bull. He thanked the late Red Bull CEO for his unwavering support, as well as for being more than just a business partner, but also a friend. Despite recent rumors of tensions between Newey and Horner, the aerodynamic genius will leave Red Bull with many cherished memories and well wishes.

The upcoming weeks will be crucial for Adrian Newey’s future in Formula 1. The Englishman has numerous options to consider. However, it remains uncertain whether he will choose to continue working in F1 or decide to retire after a long and successful career.
