The first Portuguese supercar, the Adamastor Furia, continues to perform dynamic tests and the latest one was carried out this week at Air Base No. 5, in Monte Real, Leiria.
The supercar, which is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine from Ford Performance, capable of delivering over 650 hp of power and over 571 Nm of maximum torque, allowing for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 10.2 seconds, as well as a top speed exceeding 300 km/h in the road version, was put to the test on the asphalt where Portuguese Air Force F-16s normally “parade”.
“The choice of Air Base No. 5 is due to the excellent floor conditions and safety for testing the car in terms of dynamics (maneuverability) and performance, with the first steps being taken in the higher power and speed regimes,” reveals the publication of the Air Force on social media, which reports the presence of Furia in its facilities.
It should be noted that Adamastor, using new simulation technologies and software, has already completed more than 30,000 laps to fine-tune, in detail, and improve the performance of its supercar, validating the behavior of the chassis and its dynamics under the most demanding conditions of use.
It is already known that Adamastor will produce only 60 units of Furia, each with a price of €1.6 million plus taxes.
