Adamastor já tem data para apresentação do desportivo português

The national car manufacturer, Adamastor, has just announced that it will present its supercar in the first four months of 2024, a sports car “made in Portugal” that is expected to hit the market in 2025.

The two-seater sports model, based on the P003 RL prototype presented in 2019, is being developed in Parafita, Porto, at the company’s facilities with about 2,225 square meters, with a potential for expansion up to 6,000 square meters that will allow it, in the future, to implement its growth plan in a phased and sustainable manner, both in terms of technology and human resources.

Focused on its goal of becoming a low-volume reference supercar manufacturer, Adamastor aims to be a center of engineering excellence, through which it will provide consulting, design, and cutting-edge technology conception services.

To achieve this, the company relies on the accumulated experience of a team of 14 employees with academic and professional training in the fields of engineering, production, and design.

Among the capabilities and competencies of its production unit, Adamastor highlights the production of parts in composite materials, as well as the use of the latest 3D printing technology.

“In engineering projects, the most advanced mechanical design, simulation, and optimization software are still used, as well as the enormous potential of tools such as virtual reality,” the company emphasized in a statement.

Adamastor has already announced that the super sports car to be presented in 2024 will begin track testing soon and that the production of this model is based on the “assembly bay” principle, in which a highly specialized technical team will be fully responsible for the entire design process of each vehicle.

Through this principle, the company believes that “it fosters, from the outset, a greater emotional connection between the human and material aspects that will always be the inspiration for the excellence of Adamastor’s work and the quality of execution of its highly qualified technical team.”

In addition to developing a supercar, the Portuguese brand supplies components to various clients, including carbon fiber bodywork and fuel tanks, propellers for wind energy production, among others.
