It is called Road to DTM and aims to prepare young people for entry into DTM. It is the new program of ADAC for the popular German touring car championship, whose supervision it took over this year.
According to a statement, the project will allow leveraging the synergies of ADAC in the GT championships it supervises, providing a young development program to take them to the DTM field.
As such, the best young driver from ADAC GT Masters next year will have a guaranteed spot in DTM in 2025, while the strongest young drivers from ADAC GT4 Germany in 2024 will automatically move up to ADAC GT Masters in the following year.
