IM Motors has confirmed that it will arrive in the national market in 2025. The brand, founded in 2020 and belonging to the Chinese group SAIC, the same owner as MG, will be presented at the ECAR Show, the Hybrid and Electric Car Show held at the International Fair of Lisbon (FIL) on May 17, 18, and 19.
At the event, IM Motors will present two electric models from the premium range, including the new L6, a 100% electric sedan, thus anticipating its arrival in the European market.
This new model, which the brand has already announced will come with two configurations, is equipped with cutting-edge technology and features an electric propulsion system designed to combine benchmark performance, allowing the brand to announce acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds, and a range between 600 and 800 kilometers.
“We are excited to welcome IM Motors to Portugal, an exciting new brand from our SAIC Motor family. This collaboration reinforces our commitment to offering innovative and high-quality mobility options to Portuguese consumers. We look forward to the presentation of the exciting IM Motors models and hope to further strengthen our position in the electric vehicle market in Portugal,” stated Leo Hongze, President of MG Motor Iberia, in a press release.
