In a surprising twist of events, Chase Elliott will no longer be supported by Hooters and will instead be displaying a Coca Cola design during races.

Chase Elliott has been a well-known sponsor in the NASCAR world since they entered the sport in 1991. Since then, they have taken on the restaurant chain as their primary sponsor, following in the footsteps of their Polish-American idol. However, this partnership came to an abrupt end, leading to Coca Cola taking advantage of the opportunity and announcing themselves as the new sponsor of HM.

Hooters is often associated with Chase Elliott’s racing career. The brand was supposed to be featured on the No.9 Chevy car on three occasions during the 2024 season. Hooters’ branding was seen in Atlanta and Texas, where the 28-year-old ended his 42-race winless streak. This created anticipation among fans as they approached the race in Richmond, but the team decided to end their ties with Hooters in favor of Coca Cola.

The team took to social media to reveal a white and red design for the race in Richmond. The Coca Cola livery has been used by various teams throughout the history of the championship. However, with Coca Cola replacing Hooters, fans will miss seeing Elliott’s long-time sponsor on the No.9 car.

Although fans would have enjoyed seeing the Hooters design in action, the No.9 driver is prepared to compete on the streets of Richmond and win another race this season. His family has a longstanding relationship with the Coca Cola brand and is excited to begin a new chapter in his racing career.

The 28-year-old was seen sporting the iconic white and red color scheme while welcoming the soft drink maker on board. Furthermore, his father was also sponsored by Coca Cola in the past, completing a full circle in Elliott’s family racing story.

In addition to this, Elliott is a key contender for the 2024 championship and aims to become a two-time Cup Series champion. He currently holds the second position in the driver standings and hopes to win the race in Richmond to earn points for the regular season championship before entering the playoffs.
