Road traffic on the 25th of April Bridge will be closed in the early morning of Sunday, February 18, between 0:00 and 7:00, in both directions, “for maintenance work on the expansion joints of the road deck of the north access viaduct”.

Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) revealed in a statement that during the closure of traffic on the 25th of April Bridge, it suggests as an alternative crossing between the south and north banks of the Tagus River in the Lisbon region, “the use of the Vasco da Gama Bridge”.

IP thanks for “the understanding of any inconvenience that the temporary traffic closure may cause”, justifying its necessity “to ensure the successful execution of the project aimed at improving the levels of quality, reliability, and availability of car traffic on the 25th of April Bridge”.
