2025 Nissan Kicks Dominates US Small Crossover Class With Tempting Price
ADVERTISEMENT

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is making waves in the small crossover market with its impressive features and affordable price point. Starting at an MSRP of $21,830 for the base S flavor, this new model offers great value for money. For an extra $1,500, you can opt for the all-wheel drive system, perfect for those seeking a little more traction on the road.

Nissan is proud to advertise the 2025 Kicks as being “well equipped at any price point.” Even the entry-level trim comes with LED exterior lighting, a 7-inch infotainment system, and the Nissan Safety Shield 360 bundle of safety features. This includes automatic emergency braking, blind spot warning, rear departure warning, and high-beam assist, among others.

If you’re looking to upgrade, the 2025 Nissan Kicks SV offers additional features such as 17-inch wheels, a wireless charging pad for compatible phones, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The infotainment system is also upgraded to a 12.3-inch touchscreen display. For those seeking a more luxurious experience, the SR trim brings 19-inch alloys, a unique LED signature in the headlights, a two-tone interior, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera system, and ProPilot Assist.

Under the hood, the 2025 Nissan Kicks boasts a 2.0-liter inline-four engine, delivering 141 horsepower and 140 pound-foot of torque. Paired with Nissan’s Xtronic transmission (CVT), this crossover promises confident acceleration. What sets it apart from its competitors is the inclusion of an all-wheel drive system, a rarity in this class.

Visually, the 2025 Nissan Kicks takes inspiration from China’s Pathfinder, featuring similar design traits. With a length of 171.9 inches and a wheelbase of 104.9 inches in all-wheel-drive configuration, this crossover offers a spacious interior. Opting for front-wheel-drive reduces the wheelbase to 104.6 inches, but the difference is negligible.

The new Kicks is longer, wider, and taller than its predecessor, resulting in a slightly roomier cockpit. With its improved dimensions and the option for all-wheel drive, the 2025 Nissan Kicks is a compelling choice for anyone in the market for a brand-new crossover.
