2025 Arto Motorhome Revolutionizes the Market with Luxury, Smart Tech, and Industry Firsts!

Niesmann+Bischoff, the renowned German luxury motorhome company, has once again defied expectations with their latest release. Introducing the 2025 Arto motorhome, a groundbreaking model that is the first of its kind. This innovative motorhome is built on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis, a feat that Niesmann+Bischoff has successfully accomplished not once, but twice.

While the Arto is not a new addition to their lineup, this year’s model marks a significant shift. The Fiat Ducato chassis has been replaced with a Mercedes one, and the layout and optional features have been revamped, drawing inspiration from the company’s more upscale models, the iSmove and Flair. The result? Two new motorhomes, the 2025 Arto 78 and the Arto 88, that prioritize comfort, luxury, and customization, setting them apart from other manufacturers in the industry.

Niesmann+Bischoff describes this as a generational shift, a seamless fusion of the company’s DNA with cutting-edge technology to create the ultimate motorhome experience. Both models comfortably accommodate four people, with the option of a drop-down double bed above the driver’s cab. They also feature a full bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a spacious dining area that doubles as a living room. To maximize storage space, both Arto models have double floors, cleverly concealing various storage compartments accessible from both the interior and exterior of the motorhome.

In terms of autonomy, Niesmann+Bischoff has gone above and beyond. These motorhomes boast the largest tank capacities in their class, with 300 liters (79 gallons) for fresh water, 200 liters (53 gallons) for wastewater, and 170 liters (45 gallons) for black water. Additionally, they come equipped with a 150Ah battery, upgradable to 450Ah, and 220W of solar cells on the roof, with the option to upgrade to 660W. A fixed gas tank and a dedicated app for controlling all functions further enhance the ability to go off-grid for extended periods.

Despite sharing the same Mercedes underpinnings and safety systems, the Arto 78 and Arto 88 offer distinct living experiences. The Arto 78 is the shorter of the two, measuring 7.82 meters (25.6 feet) in length and boasting a maximum weight of 4.5 tons. On the other hand, the Arto 88 is slightly more luxurious, featuring a tandem-axle design, a total length of 9.06 meters (29.7 feet), and a maximum loaded weight of 5.5 tons. With these exceptional motorhomes, Niesmann+Bischoff continues to push the boundaries of luxury and innovation in the industry.

Design-wise, the Arto 78 and Arto 88 have some notable differences. One major distinction is the styling of the dinette, kitchen, and bathroom. In the Arto 78, Niesmann+Bischoff has implemented a unique “magic” transformable bathroom. The sink wall can slide to the side, revealing the shower room. However, this means that the toilet becomes temporarily inaccessible due to the sink blocking it.

The kitchen block in both models is modular, providing flexibility. Additionally, the dinette serves as belted seating for passengers during transport. The layout also includes a wardrobe within the same block that houses the fridge. Moreover, an elevated queen-size bed with ample storage is featured.

While the Arto 78 is undoubtedly beautiful, the Arto 88 is an RV enthusiast’s dream. The dinette is more spacious, and there is room for a bathroom that also acts as a space divider between the bedroom and the rest of the living area. This bathroom includes a shower on one side and a sink with a toilet on the other. By closing the pocket doors at either end, these two spaces can be seamlessly connected.

The Arto 88 boasts stunning stone finishes and self-tinting automatic glass, replacing the bedroom wall. Speaking of the bedroom, it includes a customizable wardrobe unit called “The Wall.” Each owner can tailor the features to their specific needs and preferences.

Both models feature a large retractable smart TV in the living area. The kitchen in the Arto 88 is not only larger but also customizable. It is equipped with essential amenities, including a coffee machine. After all, enjoying a freshly-made cup of joe while watching the sunrise in the middle of nowhere is a must.

Customization is a key focus for the Arto series. With the online configurator, buyers have access to 128 exterior variations and a staggering 25,920 interior options for both models combined. This allows individuals to choose the exact level of customization they desire and style their Arto to their liking.

The Arto 78 has a starting price of €116,800 ($126,300), excluding additional options. On the other hand, the Arto 88 starts at €132,000 ($142,700). Niesmann+Bischoff plans to showcase two completed units at the Dusseldorf Caravan Show, beginning on August 30. Dealers will start selling these models in November.
