This weekend, the 2024 Formula 1 season continues as the sport returns to China after a five-year absence. The first sprint stage of the campaign will take place in Shanghai.

Following his impressive victory in Suzuka, Max Verstappen, the current F1 champion, seeks to secure his first win in Shanghai and add it to his already impressive record.

Viewers in the UK and Ireland can enjoy live coverage of all the action, with highlights available later in the day.

Watch live: Sky Sports F1 will broadcast all sessions live, along with pre and post-session programs for qualifying and the race. Channel 4 will also provide highlights of the qualifying and race sessions.

Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can stream all the action through the Sky Go app, which requires an internet connection. Alternatively, coverage can be accessed through NOW TV.

Friday: FP1 – 04:00 | Sprint Qualifying – 08:00

Saturday: Sprint – 03:30 | Qualifying – 08:00

Sunday: Chinese Grand Prix – 08:00

Friday: Sprint Qualifying – 12:35

Saturday: Sprint and Qualifying – 12:15

Sunday: Chinese Grand Prix – 12:30
