Antigo piloto de Fórmula 1 sugere Carlos Sainz como principal opção para a Red Bull se Max Verstappen sair.

Max Verstappen has a contract with Red Bull until 2028. The team has been involved in a series of controversies and rumors involving their star driver and hierarchy. This unsettling atmosphere has ultimately led to the departure of a key figure from the team, fueling speculation about a possible exit by Verstappen. As a result, there have been suggestions for Red Bull to consider hiring Carlos Sainz in case Verstappen decides to leave.

The Red Bull headquarters in Milton Keynes has been embroiled in controversies for several months. Meanwhile, rumors of Verstappen joining their rivals have reached unprecedented levels. This unique situation has put Red Bull’s hierarchy in a difficult position to find a replacement driver if the reigning champion departs. They need to have a highly skilled driver ready to take his place.

Juan Pablo Montoya believes that Carlos Sainz is the ideal choice for the team based in Milton Keynes. According to the Colombian, Sainz is the best alternative to Verstappen. Additionally, Sainz already has knowledge of how Red Bull operates due to his previous stint with the team in 2015. This makes him a suitable candidate to replace Verstappen, especially if the team is looking for an experienced driver who has recently demonstrated his skills on the track.

Red Bull is not the only team that may undergo a reshuffle in their driver lineup in 2025. Another team has already confirmed their lineup, featuring an exciting duo. However, this could potentially disrupt the team dynamics in Maranello and destabilize the harmonious environment within the team.

Montoya speculates that it will be intriguing to see how the team dynamics unfold in Maranello. He believes that the desire for a world title from both drivers could create a crisis where they often clash on the track. However, there is still plenty of time before the scarlet duo undergoes any changes. In the meantime, Sainz has 17 races left to impress the Red Bull team and secure his future with the reigning champions, after being released before the start of the season.
