Le Mans MotoGP: Marquez, junto com outros dois pilotos de ponta, preso no Q1.

In the Grand Prix of France MotoGP, Marc Marquez, a well-known rider, along with two other prominent names, will have to go through the initial qualifying round. Meanwhile, Fabio Quartararo, a local rider, secured a spot in Q2 by impressively performing with new tires. Despite initially being on the wrong side of the cut, Quartararo managed to secure the 10th position by a narrow margin of 0.010 seconds. This pushed Enea Bastianini, who currently holds the third position in the championship, out of the Q2 contention after crashing with his Ducati. Another rider, Brad Binder, also crashed in the final moments of the session, further diminishing his chances of advancing. Joining Bastianini and Binder in the battle for the two available spots in Q2 is Marquez, who suffered a fall early in the session. Although Marquez quickly recovered, his progression remains uncertain. The session was dominated by Jorge Martin, the current points leader, closely followed by Pecco Bagnaia. Rookie sensation Pedro Acosta also had an impressive showing, finishing among the top three among KTM riders. Quartararo was preceded by Aleix Espargaro and followed by Franco Morbidelli and Marco Bezzecchi, who secured the remaining spots in Q2. Unfortunately, Yamaha’s Alex Rins was unable to replicate Quartararo’s success and finished in 15th place. Honda riders had a disappointing session, with four of them occupying the last five positions. Joan Mir was the fastest among the Honda riders, but still finished in 18th place, over a second behind the leaders.
