BMW revelou o novo M4 CS que traz 550 cv

BMW has revealed the new M4 CS, a version that sits between the Competition Coupé and the CSL, and that will hit the market later this year.

The new model comes with the well-known 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo engine, capable of producing 550 hp, 20 hp more than the M4 Coupé Competition xDrive, and a maximum torque of 659 Nm. The power is transmitted to all four wheels by an eight-speed M Steptronic automatic gearbox, which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, and reach a maximum speed, electronically limited, of 302 km/h.

These numbers allowed the M4 CS to complete a lap at the famous German circuit in a time of 7m21.989 during tests conducted at Nürburgring Nordschleife. From an aesthetic point of view, the M4 CS features a grille with a red border and the CS logo on the left side, along with the inclusion of carbon fiber on the hood, roof, front lip, side air intakes, mirror caps, rear diffuser, and spoiler.
Furthermore, the lighting signature features boomerang-shaped headlights with yellow light, which the brand says is a tribute to competition GT cars, while the rear end presents taillights with LED technology. Engineers at BMW have equipped the new M4 CS with an active exhaust system, with a sound that varies according to the selected driving mode. In Sport and Sport+ modes, the system opens the valves and reveals a deep sound. Additionally, the M4 CS is equipped with a chassis with specific tuning and an Adaptive M suspension with its own tuning. BMW also revealed that the M4 CS will be available in four body colors: Brooklyn Grey metallic and Black Sapphire metallic, along with Riviera Blue and Frozen Isle of Man Green metallic from the BMW Individual selection, with 19’’ wheels in the front and 20” wheels in matte black or Gold Bronze.

Inside, highlight for a curved screen that combines a 12.3’’ digital instrument panel and a 14.9’’ central screen equipped with the iDrive 8.5 operating system, with specific M graphics and special functions, including a system that allows analyzing drift maneuvers.

In addition, the M Alcantara steering wheel as standard features a three-spoke design with a flat bottom rim and buttons that allow you to save specific settings.

As standard, the M4 CS comes equipped with M Carbon sports seats in Merino leather that feature a unique design with a black and red color scheme with contrasting stitching, as well as electric adjustment, heating, and integrated headrests with an illuminated model logo.

The CS logo also appears on the M seat belts with tricolor stitching, on the Carbon Fiber ribbed applications, and on the anthracite-colored headliner.

BMW also revealed that the new M4 CS will be produced alongside the other BMW M4 variants at the Dingolfing factory starting in July of this year, and that the ordering period will begin at the end of May.
