He described the experience as “amazing” and was proud to hold off Sainz on every lap. As the race neared its end, Ricciardo realized that victory was within his reach. Despite the high track temperatures in Miami, he pushed himself to the limit, leaving nothing in reserve to prevent Sainz from launching an attack. Ricciardo praised his team’s efforts, acknowledging the obstacles they had overcome to reach this point. He also expressed his satisfaction in reminding people of his skills on the track.
