Seidl revela estratégia ambiciosa de contratação da Audi para a F1.

The CEO of the Sauber Group, Andreas Seidl, shared that Audi is intensively preparing for its upcoming entry into Formula 1, recruiting individuals from rival teams. Audi will make its debut in F1 in 2025 after acquiring the Sauber-owned team and aligning with the new technical regulations. Sauber has recently faced difficulties, dropping to ninth place in the last season after a promising start under the latest rules. However, the imminent arrival of Audi has attracted Nico Hulkenberg to join Sauber from Haas in 2025, and there are rumors of a lucrative offer being made to Carlos Sainz from Ferrari. Seidl revealed that Sauber has been actively recruiting top engineers from other teams since the Audi announcement, with the goal of increasing its team from 600 to 900 employees as quickly as possible. The team has already attracted talents from various areas of motorsport and the recruitment process is ongoing. Audi’s entry into Formula 1 has generated significant interest, given the brand’s premium position and rich history in motorsport. Seidl also revealed that Audi has taken a similar approach to its power unit operation, hiring prominent personnel from various manufacturers to assemble a power unit that complies with the revised regulations.
