With Haas introducing developments in their car in the last race, Mekies confirmed that RB will respond with their own improvements in Miami. Mekies acknowledges that there are no guarantees in this group and expects their competitors to also bring updates. The team will need to perform at their best to secure a result in the top ten. Yuki Tsunoda’s strong performances, including three consecutive appearances in Q3 and consecutive points, have led some to believe that RB is the sixth-best team. However, Mekies denies this claim and emphasizes that the fierce competition at the back of the grid has motivated the team to strive for perfection.
