Charles Leclerc compartilha o fator chave que revolucionará a posição da Ferrari na intensa competição com a McLaren e a Red Bull.

Ferrari is currently in second place in the 2024 Constructors’ Championship. The Italian racing team has had a stronger start to this season and has achieved podium finishes in four out of five races so far. The highlight of Ferrari believes that the team’s upgrades will play a crucial role in determining their success this season. The Maranello team faced difficulties managing their hard compounds during the race in Shanghai.

The Monaco driver stated that the team is currently working to identify the main cause of their tire difficulties between the races in Shanghai and Miami. However, unlike other teams planning to introduce their first set of upgrades in Miami, Ferrari will wait a bit longer. Upgrades are vital for a team’s progress on the track, and Leclerc shared his thoughts on this matter.

The SF-24 has shown strong performance this year as Ferrari has dedicated significant efforts to enhance and refine the car in all aspects. They are currently in second place, between Red Bull and McLaren. McLaren, in particular, has been rapidly closing in. The papaya-colored team will also introduce their initial upgrades in Miami, which may pose a challenge for Leclerc and his teammates.

Charles Leclerc and his teammate have been part of the same team since the Spaniard joined Ferrari in 2021, and they share a special bond. However, with the news of a new driver joining Ferrari this season, the two drivers have entered a highly competitive mode. According to the Red Bull advisor, the Spaniard has always been ahead of the Monegasque driver.

Regarding this, he added the following comments.

It’s no surprise that Sainz has outperformed his teammate this season. He is the only driver outside of Red Bull to have secured a victory, once in Australia and another in last year’s Singapore Grand Prix. Sainz’s talent and potential have caught the eye of Red Bull. Although everything seems to be in Sainz’s favor, this could pose a challenge for his teammate Leclerc, who will remain with the Ferrari team in the coming years.
