Ferrari is currently in second place in the 2024 Constructors’ Championship. The Monaco driver stated that the team is currently working to identify the main cause of their tire difficulties between the races in Shanghai and Miami. However, unlike other teams planning to introduce their first set of upgrades in Miami, Ferrari will wait a bit longer. Upgrades are vital for a team’s progress on the track, and Leclerc shared his thoughts on this matter.
The SF-24 has shown strong performance this year as Ferrari has dedicated significant efforts to enhance and refine the car in all aspects. They are currently in second place, between Red Bull and McLaren. McLaren, in particular, has been rapidly closing in. The papaya-colored team will also introduce their initial upgrades in Miami, which may pose a challenge for Leclerc and his teammates.
Charles Leclerc and his teammate have been part of the same team since the Spaniard joined Ferrari in 2021, and they share a special bond. However, with the news of a new driver joining Ferrari this season, the two drivers have entered a highly competitive mode. According to the Red Bull advisor, the Spaniard has always been ahead of the Monegasque driver.
