Rowland satisfied with fantastic performance in Monaco

Oliver Rowland, from Nissan, expressed his satisfaction with his sixth place in the Monaco E-Prix after a disappointing qualifying session. Rowland attributed his 15th place in qualifying to a steering issue and a team error that prevented him from completing an additional lap. Despite these setbacks, Rowland stated that he would have gladly accepted sixth place before the race began. The steering issue was resolved after the team made changes to the rear of the car, allowing Rowland to gain positions during the race. He described the race as “amazing” and praised the team’s ability to race well and secure a strong result. Rowland also mentioned that the Nissan car has exceeded expectations at various circuits this season, making it difficult to predict future results. He acknowledged that there are areas to improve, especially in terms of single lap performance, but expressed confidence in the team’s race pace. Although not overly confident about the upcoming races in Berlin and Shanghai, Rowland noted that his lack of confidence has not hindered his success in previous races.
