This has resulted in a lot of criticism directed at the 34-year-old driver. Recently, Daniel Ricciardo revealed that his teammate has been benefiting from his suggestions and the setup of his car.

The Australian shared how his impressive weekend in Mexico last season, where he qualified in fourth and finished the race in seventh, caught the interest of his younger teammate. As a result, it is believed that the Japanese driver is now using a setup almost identical to that of his more experienced teammate.

This revelation is certainly intriguing, and after his excellent performance in China before the unfortunate incident with , Daniel Ricciardo will certainly want to continue perfecting the setup of his car and maintaining his good form.

In the first four stages of the 2024 F1 season, before the race in Shanghai, Yuki Tsunoda has been faster than Daniel Riccardo. The Japanese driver has delivered impressive performances and even scored points in Australia and Japan. However, despite his achievements, Ricciardo does not consider this extraordinary.

The winner of eight Grand Prix praised his teammate, acknowledging that Tsunoda is very confident with the car. However, he concluded by stating that it is not an exceptional or uncommon situation. Ricciardo will certainly seek to support these comments by performing well in the upcoming race in Miami.
