Márquez lidera em treino chuvoso final de MotoGP em Jerez.

Hello, how are you doing today?

I’m doing well, thank you for asking.

Marc Marquez from Gresini Ducati emerged as the fastest rider in the final MotoGP practice session in Jerez, despite unexpected wet weather disrupting teams’ plans for qualifying. Marquez clocked a lap time of 1.48.183s, with VR46 rider Fabio Di Giannantonio close behind, just 0.076s adrift. Most riders took the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the track conditions and gather important data in case of rain during the race. Marquez continued to dominate the session, consistently setting the fastest laps. However, Jorge Martin faced a setback as his visor came loose early on, forcing him to return to the pits and hindering his adaptation to the wet track. Francesco Bagnaia, leader of Free Practice Two, struggled throughout the session but managed to secure a solid third place. Raul Fernandez and Miguel Oliveira from Trackhouse Aprilia initially held high positions but ended up in fourth and sixth place, respectively, with Maverick Vinales in between. Pedro Acosta, riding in wet conditions for the first time on a MotoGP bike, emerged as the top KTM rider, followed by Franco Morbidelli from Pramac and Alex Marquez from Gresini. Aleix Espargaro rounded out the top 10, with a group of five factory Ducati and KTM riders closely following. Marco Bezzecchi led this group. Dani Pedrosa and Jack Miller finished just behind Martin, with factory Ducati rider Enea Bastianini behind them. Fabio Quartararo continued to struggle with his Yamaha, even in the changing wet weather, finishing in 17th place, 1.527s behind the leader. Johann Zarco once again led the Honda riders, while test rider Stefan Bradl comfortably finished ahead of Joan Mir and Luca Marini, who finished 21st and last, respectively. Alex Rins, who led the Japanese manufacturer in the previous practice session, had to settle for 19th place. KTM’s Brad Binder almost made it to Q2 after a late crash and ended up in 20th place, unable to set consistent lap times. Lorenzo Savadori fought hard and could only bring his Aprilia bike to 22nd place.
