Jaguar promete dominar próxima geração da Fórmula E com grandes objetivos.

Jaguar TCS Racing announced during a press conference in Monaco that the team has become the second in the sport to commit to the upcoming GEN4 era, ensuring its presence in the series until at least 2030. With over 100 races completed, 13 victories, and 37 podiums, Jaguar is one of the oldest and most successful teams in FE history. It seems that the prominent motorsport entity has ambitious ambitions to match its reputation.

During the press conference, team principal James Barclay was asked if Jaguar made the right decision to enter Formula E, especially considering the skepticism surrounding the sport’s inception. Barclay replied: “I remember being at the Shard in 2015 when Jaguar returned to racing after a 12-year hiatus. At that time, entering Formula E surprised many. However, for us, it was crystal clear. In the same year, there was a convention on climate change, marking a crucial moment that meant the world would undergo significant changes in this area.

“We did not follow the conventional path of our competitors in motorsport. Instead, we sought to lead from the start, which has always been our modus operandi. From our point of view, the timing and circumstances were ideal.

“If we look at the journey Formula E has embarked on, we see manufacturers coming and going, new teams joining, and an extraordinary story unfolding in just ten years. Therefore, I believe our decision has been validated. The future is incredibly promising, and this is an extraordinary period for motorsport. Formula E is experiencing rapid growth and, despite being a relatively young sport, has achieved remarkable feats.

“I believe that Formula E is still in its infancy, with a long and bright future ahead. The ingredients it possesses are unparalleled. We just need to collaborate and nurture them in the most effective way. By doing so, the sport will unlock its incredible potential for the future.”
